Judicial Commission session summoned for October 13
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) will meet on October 13 to discuss the extension of the constitutional benches in the Sindh High Court.
The meeting will be held at 1.30pm in the Supreme Court conference room and will be chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.
The tenure of the constitutional benches in the Sindh High Court is set to expire on October 25.
The meeting comes a day after Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Farooq H Naek and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Aftab Sheikh resigned from the Judicial Commission.
