Police said the incident occurred during the rasm-e-hina celebrations when an armed relative allegedly opened fire at the groom.
In the chaos, a local youth who had arrived to collect money showered during the ceremony was critically injured by a bullet and later succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Shakeel Ahmed, who had come to the event with friends.
Local residents said the main suspect, Gulfam alias Vicky, suspected that the groom, Junaid, had recorded and circulated videos involving his relatives, which led to the attack.
Police acted swiftly and arrested three suspects, while the prime accused managed to escape.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. Following the incident, wedding festivities were immediately called off.

Meanwhile, two young sisters lost their lives and six others were injured when the dilapidated roof of a house collapsed in Pathan Colony near Minar Wali Mosque in the Ferozewala area.
Rescue officials said the victims eight-year-old Shabnam and 12-year-old Amina, were buried under the debris and died on the spot. Six other occupants sustained injuries, one of whom remains in critical condition. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital with the help of local residents.
