The cleared areas include Aseerai Kalan, Sari Mian Gana, Lundai Kalan, Bilal Masjid Tarkho, and Shamsher Garh Qila Tarkho. Officials confirmed that law and order has been fully established in these localities, allowing residents to resume their daily lives in safety.
The district administration praised the patience and sacrifices of the affected communities, assuring them of complete protection and support. Authorities emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring the dignified, safe, and timely return of all families displaced by the conflict.
At the same time, officials noted that the repatriation of families from other affected areas will take place in a phased and organized manner, subject to security clearance of each locality. The administration reaffirmed its determination to complete the return process as swiftly and securely as possible.
It may be recalled that on Friday, the phased repatriation of temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) from Mamond officially begun, with families from Tarkho village in Loy Mamond starting their return.
According to the district administration, security forces have fully cleared Tarkho village, allowing local residents to return home. Officials added that the repatriation process for displaced families from other parts of Mamond will also be carried out in phases to ensure order and security.
The administration lauded the patience and resilience of the affected communities. Member Provincial Assembly and District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Chairman Dr Hameedur Rehman said families can now return safely.
