SSGC announces eight-hour daily gas supply schedule for winter

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has issued a new gas supply schedule for the winter season, under which domestic consumers will receive gas for only eight hours a day.

According to the company, gas supply timings have been fixed for the morning, afternoon and evening, with the new schedule coming into effect from today.

An SSGC spokesperson said domestic consumers would receive gas from 6:30am to 9am, followed by another supply window from noon to 2:30pm.

Gas will also be available in the evening from 6pm to 9pm.

The company said the schedule had been drawn up to improve gas availability during the winter months, adding that domestic consumers would be given priority in gas distribution.
