Qatar announces free 30-day tourist visa on arrival for Pakistanis
Qatar has announced a free tourist visa on arrival for Pakistani citizens, allowing them to stay in the country for up to 30 days without obtaining a visa in advance.
According to information available on the Qatari Ministry of Interior’s official website, the facility is subject to specific requirements that travellers must fulfil before their departure.
Under the arrangement, Pakistani nationals can receive a free visa on arrival for a maximum of 30 days. However, the permitted duration may also depend on the length of their hotel reservation.
To qualify for the facility, travellers must meet four conditions.
First, their passports must have a validity of at least three months at the time of arrival in Qatar. They must also hold a confirmed return ticket.
In addition, visitors are required to book their hotel accommodation exclusively through Qatar’s official tourism platform, Discover Qatar. Reservations made through other websites or online booking platforms will not be accepted under this arrangement.
The fourth requirement is valid health insurance obtained from an insurance company approved by Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.
The Ministry of Interior has stated that all four conditions must be met to qualify for the free visa on arrival.
Travellers who fail to provide the required documents or meet the eligibility criteria may not be granted the facility.
The arrangement is separate from Qatar’s other visa-free entry arrangements and tourist visa programmes.
Pakistani travellers planning to visit Qatar have been advised to check the requirements and ensure that all necessary documents are in order before travelling.
Further information and hotel booking details are available through Qatar’s official tourism website, Discover Qatar.
