Petrol, diesel prices cut for third straight day
The federal government has reduced the price of petrol by 14 paise per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.89 per litre for October 1, according to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday. The price of petrol has been set at Rs387.40 per litre, down from Rs387.54, while diesel will now cost Rs400.35 per litre, compared with Rs402.24 previously.
