Man, son drown at Gadani beach

A tragic incident occurred at the Gadani beach where a father and his young son drowned while swimming in the sea. The victims were identified as 35-year-old Kareem Shah and his 12-year-old son, Ubaid Khan. Their bodies were later shifted to their residence in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town.

According to family members, Kareem Shah, who was physically disabled and worked as a rickshaw driver, had gone to Gadani for a recreational trip with his wife and three children. The tragedy unfolded when Ubaid was swept further into the sea by strong waves. Kareem jumped in to rescue him, but was also overwhelmed by the powerful tides and drowned.

Separately, Zain drowned while swimming near Turtle Beach at Hawksbay.
