Women’s March Madness: Full schedule, updated bracket as college basketball begins

The 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket is set, with the First Four games determining the final teams to enter the main draw. March Madness officially begins as teams prepare for the knockout competition, where a single loss means elimination.

Southern University secured its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory in its seventh appearance, defeating UC San Diego 68-56. With the win, Southern claimed a No. 16 seed and will now face top-seeded UCLA in the opening round.

Iowa State also booked a spot in the tournament, overcoming Princeton 68-63 to advance as a No. 11 seed. The Cyclones are set to take on No. 6 seed Michigan in the round of 64.
