Pakistan beat South Korea 5-3 to win Asian Games hockey bronze

Pakistan clinched the Asian Games hockey bronze medal on Saturday with a 5-3 victory over South Korea in a thrilling contest.

In the match played at Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium, Pakistan scored three goals in the fourth and final quarter to turn the game around and secure a 5-3 victory.

Sufyan Khan gave Pakistan the lead in the fourth minute through a penalty corner.

Abdul Rehman then scored from a penalty corner in the 30th minute, while Rana Waheed scored in the 52nd and 54th minutes, including one from a penalty corner.

Hannan Shahid completed the scoring for Pakistan in the 59th minute.

For South Korea, Lee Gang-san scored in the 12th minute, Kim Yong-bok in the 18th minute, and Young Ji-han from a penalty corner in the 25th minute.
