Seven police personnel injured in terrorist attack on Kohat check post
Seven police personnel were injured when unidentified terrorists attacked a police check post in the Shadipur area of Kohat district, police said on Wednesday.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Mazhar Iqbal, police successfully foiled the attack on the Shadipur check post.
The attackers opened fire on the post, prompting police to retaliate, after which the terrorists fled the scene.
The injured policemen were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the fleeing attackers.
