Hazara police devised a foolproof security plan for Eidul Fitr in the Hazara Division. As many as 6,000 police personnel were deployed.
The personnel of the operations wing police, traffic police wardens, Elite Police Force, SSU, Special Branch and CTD personnel were part of the security plan.
The Hazara Division DIG Nasir Mahmoud Satti had directed all the DPOs to monitor the Eid security plan themselves and ensure all possible travel and life safety to the visiting tourists.
He also ordered to make security of Chinese working on development projects and important places more effective.
DIG Satti had earlier reviewed the security plan of all districts in detail and said a traffic plan was prepared to make the traffic flow efficient. Issuing instructions to the DPOs, the DIG had said that the DPOs should monitor the Eid security plan at their respective districts.
