13 arrested in raids on drug dens

The Sanghar police conducted raids on liquor dens, and arrested 13 persons involved in alcohol sales. During the operation, hundreds of litres of locally-prepared liquor and packets of gutka (chewing tobacco) were seized. Furthermore, a fugitive, accused of murder, was also apprehended.

According to the police spokesperson, the Sanghar police launched the operation targeting the criminal elements in the area and took strict action against drug dealers. During the raids, drug dealers Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh, Imdad Khaskheli, Tasawur Ali Malik, and others were arrested. A total of 250 litres of prepared alcohol were seized, and the liquor dens were demolished. Additionally, a large quantity of unprocessed and prepared alcohol was also destroyed on-site.
