Police have released CCTV footage from a raid conducted on February 8 at the residence of Armaghan in the upscale Defence Khayaban-e-Momin area, in connection with the Mustafa murder case, Express News reported.

The footage shows Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ahsan Zulfiqar and another officer wounded during the operation. Armaghan, reportedly skilled in handling firearms, opened indiscriminate fire on the police from within his home.

According to the footage, the suspect was seen moving around naked inside the house at the time of the raid. A woman was also spotted with him.

As the police attempted to enter the property, Armaghan fired multiple rounds from an M4 rifle, which was equipped with a mounted torch. He was seen descending a staircase and firing at officers from various positions inside the house.

The footage also shows police officers planning the raid outside the house before forcibly opening the main gate using a police vehicle. Once inside, officers moved through different parts of the residence, only to be met with gunfire from the upper floor.

DSP Zulfiqar and another officer were injured and seen dragging themselves across the floor to escape. At the same moment, the woman accompanying the suspect was seen exiting the room.

Sources confirmed the footage was released officially by the police to document the events and highlight the level of resistance faced during the operation.

Police said they had not expected such a violent reaction from the suspect and noted the operation is part of the ongoing investigation into the Mustafa murder case.
