FBI Director Kash Patel engaged to country singer Alexis Wilkins

FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to country singer and political commentator Alexis Wilkins, with the couple announcing the news on Sunday.

Wilkins, 27, shared a black-and-white photo on X showing herself with Patel, 46, displaying her engagement ring.

“Went and got the law involved,” she wrote in the post, which Patel later reposted.

The couple have been dating since before Patel became FBI director in 2025, with Wilkins attending his swearing-in ceremony.

Wilkins released her debut album in 2023 and has been affiliated with conservative groups.

On her website, she says her work “honours country tradition while adding relevance and current commentary.”

Patel has faced criticism over his use of government aircraft for trips without an apparent law enforcement purpose, including an FBI jet flight to State College, Pennsylvania, for a professional wrestling event where Wilkins performed the national anthem.

Wilkins later posted photos on social media showing the couple together at the event, with her holding an oversized championship belt.

She also performed at President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair on the National Mall as part of the America 250 celebrations.

Several other artists withdrew after learning that the event was not intended to be a non-partisan celebration.
