Pakistan successfully tests extended-range Fatah-4 cruise missile

Pakistan on Tuesday conducted a successful test launch of an extended version of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile, the Pakistan Defence Forces said in a statement on X.

The weapon system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids and is capable of engaging targets at extended ranges with high precision and lethality, the statement said.

The test also validated additional technical parameters of various sub-systems incorporated to improve accuracy and enhance survivability, it said.

The launch was witnessed by senior officers from the Pakistan Army along with scientists and engineers of the developing agency.

The president, prime minister, chief of army staff and chief of defence forces, and services chiefs commended the successful test launch and appreciated the technical prowess, dedication and commitment of those involved, the statement said.
