Art exhibition held as part of Derajat Festival

As part of the ongoing Derajat Festival 2025, a series of vibrant events, organized by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Sports and Youth Affairs Department, took place on Wednesday.

Among these, an art exhibition held at the District Auditorium emerged as a major attraction for the public.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Director General Sports Abdul Nasir Khan. The two-day event showcases the creative works of around 75 senior and junior artists from Dera Ismail Khan, celebrating the region’s rich artistic talent.

The opening ceremony was attended by key officials including Administrator Peshawar Sports Complex Jaffar Shah, Director Sports Adnan Sohail, Deputy Director Operations Sports Jamshed Baloch, and Focal Person to the Provincial Minister for Sports, Hanif Dawar, along with other dignitaries.

DG Sports Abdul Nasir Khan visited the various displays at the exhibition, praising the artists for their imaginative and visually captivating pieces. He also interacted with the artists, appreciating their contributions and reaffirming the department’s commitment to promoting local talent.

He emphasized that such events serve as important platforms for artists to showcase their skills and creativity.
