In a video shared to Instagram, McCreery captioned the clip with “Stage: 1, Me: 0,” showcasing the moment he walked backward, tripped, and fell. Despite the tumble, McCreery quickly got up, joking, “Who put that there?” and continued with his performance as the audience reacted with a collective gasp.

The clip continued with McCreery backstage, humorously reflecting on the moment. “I haven’t done that in a minute,” he says, commenting on his fall, which he noted had landed him right on his wrist. Tour crew members also chimed in, with one person mentioning that the fall was “a little enjoyable” once they realized McCreery wasn’t hurt.
