According to the sources, the quadcopter, identified as a Phantom 4 model, was conducting surveillance inside Pakistani territory when it was intercepted and brought down.
Defence experts said repeated violations by the Indian military through unauthorised drone activity were contributing to heightened tensions along the LoC. “Such irresponsible actions by the Indian forces are deliberate attempts to sabotage regional peace,” analysts stated.
They further noted that the downing of the quadcopters reflects the Pakistan Army’s “professional excellence and high state of operational readiness.” “The Pakistan Army is fully prepared to deliver a robust and effective response to any form of aggression,” the defence experts added.
