Mickey Rourke, who was recently removed from Celebrity Big Brother after causing discomfort with his inappropriate behavior, is reportedly planning to sue ITV. The 72-year-old actor and former boxer was dismissed from the show due to his offensive language and actions, which upset both housemates and viewers alike.

Rourke, who was rumored to be receiving a £500,000 fee for his appearance, is expected to pursue legal action after being informed that ITV would only pay him £50,000, as his contract was pro-rata. According to sources, Rourke was promised five-star accommodation, but was later told by producers that they would only cover £300 a night. The actor had already booked a luxury hotel at his own expense, reportedly costing £50,000, and expressed his frustration with the situation.

Rourke’s representative, Kimberly Hines, told TMZ that the actor’s team is currently consulting lawyers in the UK about a potential lawsuit against ITV. She also claimed that Rourke had been aware of his reputation for being a “verbal loose cannon” and was used for on-screen drama before being sent home with little support.

Rourke’s time on Celebrity Big Brother was marked by several controversial incidents. He made inappropriate remarks toward host AJ Odudu, used homophobic slurs against JoJo Siwa, and offended several other housemates. His behavior eventually led to his removal from the show, and he later apologized for his actions, admitting that he had lost control of his temper and regretted his behavior.
